Brooklyn Flea for Last Minute Holiday Shopping

It's December 23rd. If you haven't finished your holiday shopping, don't feel bad, you're not the only one. But don't let the time crunch be an excuse for shopping at lame default stores. Haste and convenience are not excuses for generic gifts. For unique, quality gifts (often sold by the artisan himself or herself) go to the Brooklyn Flea!!!

The Brooklyn Flea presents "Gifted," their holiday flea market that is, oddly enough, not in Brooklyn. It's in the East Village, on E. 4th Street and Lafayette Street, which makes it much more convenient that its Saturday and Sunday pop-up flea market relatives in DUMBO. You can take the 6 to Astor Place, the R/W to 8th Street/NYU, or the B/D/F/V to Broadway/Lafayette.

Another distinction between "Gifted" and your typical Brooklyn Flea experience: it's INDOORS! A necessity for perusing the goods at this time of year. And if you still aren't warmed up once inside, then stop by the Brooklyn Brew Shop station a cup of free beer. It's a nice amber beer and makes the whole experience feel more like a casual get-together among artist friends than hectic Christmas shopping.
